![]() Background: Since 1974, when his professional recording began, Tony Beard has established himself as a reputable songwriter, guitar player and percussionist. He has recorded numerous albums as well as television and radio jingles for established major artists and producers both in the United States and England. Additionally, Mr. Beard has collaborated as songwriter and guitar player with some of these artists. Further, in conjunction with these albums, he has performed on tours extensively, including three world tours since 1979. Born in London, England, Mr. Beard began studying percussion when he was 11 years old. His tutors have included Frank King and Joel Rothman among others. In the early years of his career, he played countless nightclubs with various bands. He now resides in New York City since the early 1990's. |
